This charming white-washed working Finca is situated in the lush and verdant valley of Agaete, where the tropical vegetation and fruit trees make a spectacular contrast with the surrounding mountains. Agaete town with its ample facilities is only 2 kilometres away and on the sea front is Puerto de las Nieves aprox. 5 km, Agaete’s port and fishing village with the fast ferry service to Tenerife and numerous harbour-side restaurants to enjoy the local fish and also the stone and dark sun beach. Las Palmas city aprox. 45 km and to the airport aprox. 60 km The property took nearly three years to refurbish and has been carefully restored using Canarian rustic furniture and traditional décor. The Finca itself is planted out with fruit trees and there is a large reservoir. The accommodation area is entered through large wooden doors into a large cobbled patio in which there is a barbecue for guests’ use. The gardens are beautifully kept and covered in geraniums and indigenous plants and there are attractive views of the valley and mountains The compact swimming pool, which guests share, is located within the terrace area and surrounded by palm trees and cacti. There are several sun-loungers. Small houses (max. occupation 2 persons) This contains a double bed, bedside tables and a wardrobe in the bedroom part and 2 comfortable sofas, an armchair, a coffee table, a writing desk and TV (no satellite channels) in the sitting room. The ceiling is beamed and there are original water-colours on the walls. Décor is tasteful and furniture is rustic but elegant. The fully equipped kitchen area has a 2-ring electric cooker, microwave, large fridge and freezer. The bathroom has rustic handbasin, bath and shower, toilet and bidet. Big house (max. occupation 5 persons) Split level room with upper and lower sections and bunk-style steps to upper floor. The sitting room has a sofa bed and fitted wardrobe and in the upper level are two twin beds. Split level room with 2 sofas, coffee table, TV and bar unit on the lower floor and 2 separate single beds on the upper . The upper levels have very low ceilings, so caution should be used to avoid banging your head! Another bedroom with large double bed, fitted wardrobe, bedside table and lamp. The shared by the above, contains bath/shower, bidet, rustic handbasin and a cupboard. The kitchen is in an adjacent building and is entered from the garden. It is a large fully equipped kitchen with 4-ring electric hob, microwave oven/grill, mixer, pantry, fridge and breakfast table with seating for 6. The cleaning is at the arrival and departure, towel change and bed linen is once a week.
