Villa Alberti is a historic private villa of great architectural value, built in Santa Margherita Ligure in the 1930s. A typical example of the traditional architecture of that period, Villa Alberti was completely renovated in 2021 and offers its guests an intimate and familiar atmosphere for unique stays. Reachable by any means of transport, Villa Alberti is located in a strategic area, in the historic centre of Santa Margherita Ligure, a few steps from the sea and all the services that the city offers its visitors. Villa Alberti offers its guests, among the various accommodations, also 5 suites with kitchenette to live a holiday in full autonomy and freedom. Our History A historical residence dating back to the 1930s, it was originally a private home and became an elegant hotel in 2021, following a careful renovation. Villa Alberti enters the scenario of the hotel hospitality of the Ligurian Riviera bringing with it its history full of charm. The building was commissioned by the Cavallini family and Dr Alberti and became their private home with the doctor's surgery on the ground floor. Renowned throughout Santa Margherita Ligure for his professionalism and generosity, Dr Alberti remains in the memories of many citizens of Santa Margherita Ligure. The Villa conquers for the particularity of its architecture, unique in the area. It has an octagonal plan and two portions positioned symmetrically to each other; it has three levels and the main entrance is at an angle. Stone masonry and concrete floors; grit and parquet flooring. The interior of the villa has maintained its originality over the years. Outside the villa is surrounded on all sides by a private garden. Villa Alberti is a typical example of a traditional architectural building from the 1930s. The management of the Villa is overseen by a local family who, with a great passion for hospitality and united by the desire to protect, keep alive and enhance the richness of the traditions of hospitality, decided in 2020 to carefully renovate the Villa and open it to the hotel scene of Santa Margherita Ligure, distinguishing itself for care and luxury.A choice of style and substance that embraces the desire for refined and elegant solutions in a comfortable environment, with a natural and fresh taste. All the rooms are coloured using natural earths and oxides, sought after to obtain a delicate, enveloping and contemporary range of colours.Villa Alberti houses twelve luxury units divided into five different types of accommodation: mini-apartments with kitchenette, suites, junior suites, superior and standard double rooms.The spaces, with great attention to detail, have preserved and enhanced the original historical layout of the Villa, integrating new comforts, for stays of pleasure and a break from the frenetic pace of everyday life.
