In an old house built before the construction of the mosque (785 AD by Abderrahman). This house was inhabited by Alarifes (Builders of the Mosque) and later became the Posada Maestre. Some say that Christopher Columbus stayed in room 204. The hotel was completely renovated in 2008, maintaining its characteristic Cordoba courtyard around which its charming rooms are distributed.
