SOL LANZAROTE MATAGORDA

This first class hotel was built in 1988 and renovated in 2004. The building has a total of 4 floors with 343 rooms including 122 doubles and 221 apartments.  It comprises of a lobby with a lift, cafeteria and a 24 hour reception, including a hotel safe, a cloakroom and currency exchange.  You will also find shops, a hairdresser, a small supermarket, a bar, a nightclub, a games room and an air conditioned, a la carte, restaurant, which offers highchairs for children and contains a non-smoking area.  You will also find a conference room, Internet access, bicycle hire service and of course a children´s playground and a kids club.  There is on site parking and, to round off the facilities and amenities of the hotel, there is a laundry service available and also a medical service.  This resort is located in the tourist area of ??Puerto del Carmen and opposite the Matagorda beach.  The town centre is approx. 3 kilometers away and approx. 500m from the hotel is a bus stop.  Approx. 200m away you can find plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.  The International Airport is at a distance of 2km.  The comfortable rooms comprise a bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV or cable, stereo, internet access, minibar, fridge, double bed, safe and balcony or terrace.  The apartments have a separate bedroom and an American style kitchen.  Sports enthusiastshave the choice of  aerobics, archery and tennis, table tennis, volleyball beach, bocce, billiards or bowling (some of these activities incur an additional fee).  On the beach, there is the possibility of diving with the locals. A program of activities for your entertainment is also available.  Approx. 5 kilometers away you will find the nearest golf green.  Both breakfast and evening meals are served as a buffet plus, in addition, lunch and dinner may be either selected from the set menu or a la carte.
