The hotel was conceived as a bastion of truly sustainable ecological tourism, based on traditional local architecture, using mostly natural materials of the region, such as basalt, a volcanic rock of the island. Comprises 5 buildings in an elevated position facing the sea. The property is surrounded by gardens that kept most of the original flora. The accommodation is lovely and has a personalized decoration that includes several antiques and restored objects that portray the history and cultures.
