This very special country hotel restored from an old farmhouse some years ago is situated within its own private smallholding at an altitude of approximately 1100 metres above sea level. The hotel is just outside the market town of San Mateo and close to the protected nature areas of “La Cumbre” and “Pino Santo”. San Mateo and its surrounding area is known for its agriculture and its weekend market is an attraction for locals and visitors alike. The hotel is impeccably managed by the owner and the rustic furnishing and decoration is elegant and tasteful. The well-tended gardens and terraces afford guests an idyllic spot to relax and enjoy the peace and beauty of the surrounding countryside. HOTEL FACILITIES: 5 double rooms and 2 junior suites all with solar-operated central heating, telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit box, minibar and en-suite bathrooms. All decorated in traditional Canarian rustic style. 2 hotel lounges, one with self-service bar and chimney and the other with library. Flower and vegetable gardens/sun-terrace area. SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX: Free of charge MINIBAR: Drinks according to price list FOOD AND DRINK: Breakfast is served in the hotel dining room buffet-style. Dinner is individually prepared according to the guests’ own choice of meals and timing. Drinks can be served by the guests themselves in the bar within the hotel lounge and recorded in the bar log. FREQUENCY OF CLEANING: Every day. Linen is changed once a week and towels three times a week.
