Hotel Rural Costa Salada

situation:

This small family hotel is situated right at the shore on the north coast of Tenerife and belongs to “VALLE GUERRA” . The town “TEJINA” can be reached in  about 2km , where you find supermarkets, bars , restaurants, pharmacies, etc. LA LAGUNA is about 13km away , PUERTO DE LA CRUZ, the principal  tourist town of the north, about 38km, to the south airport REINA SOFIA  90km, and the nice white sanded beach LAS TERESITAS,  close to Santa Cruz , can be reached in 25 km.

hotel:

the hotel has 12 rooms altogether and is located in the middle of a finca of 240.000 m2. This property is still in use for agriculture, where typical canarian plants are being cultivated like e.g. palm trees, strelicias, bananas and cactus. The sea can be reached by foot in about 3 min., the coast consists of stones and rocks, not always recommended for bathing, but it’s very well known by many fishers.

The hotel has an outside pool ( 7 x 14 x 1.50m ) with sea water, a Jacuzzi, deckchairs with mats and umbrellas, a terrace with tables and chairs that offers a fantastic overview over mountains and sea. Further you have a sauna and showers in the pool area.

Above the hotel there is the reception and guest parking located.

The main building has a nice entrance terrace with a sitting area and next to it a traditional bodega which invites you to spend some relaxing hours.

The hotel also has some kind of a public living room which is made like a small museum with many old restored furniture of the owner’s family.

The dining room has max. 38 seats and a panorama view window towards the sea.

rooms :

altogether 11 double rooms, of which 8 are located in the main building, all rooms have a balcony or terrace with seaview, single beds (2.00 x 0.90m), SAT-TV with international programs, minibar, telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub, furniture for terrace or balcony, 3 rooms are situated separately from the main building close to the pool area.

The two Junior Suites are a little bigger than the double rooms and are equipped a bit more exclusively , they have extra services like bathrobe, pool towels etc. , a double bed (1.80 x 2.00m ) , and have  a privileged location .
